Description
1939 Washington Senators Team-signed baseball with 27 signatures on an Official American League Harridge baseball. Signatures include Early Wynn (HOF) and Mickey Vernon in their rookie years. Some of the signatures are in green ink, and they are pretty easy to read. Other signatures are in black ink or pencil, and some of these are hard to read, including three that I am unable to identify. I got this baseball in Gasoline Alley's (Seattle, WA) November 1994 auction - it was Lot #949. It didn't come with a COA,n
evertheless, I guarantee the signatures on this baseball to be authentic.
The baseball comes with the ball cube and a Reach OAL baseball box (missing part of its bottom flap) that I originally got with it. On the top flap of this Reach box is a sticker indicating that this baseball was previously sold at the 13th National Sports Collectors Convention Auction conducted by Superior Galleries at Atlanta, GA, July 8-10, 1992.
Below is a listing of the signatures on the baseball
:
Sweet Spot: Bluege & Krakawskas.

The shipping charge includes insurance. If the purchaser wishes to save the shipping charge, I will be glad to deliver the baseball to you at the upcoming Chantilly Show on Saturday, July 10th. I am also listing a few other Senators Team-signed baseballs, and I'll gladly combine shipments.
