3/4 inch Male NPT pipe thread, 1 inch NPSM thread for Swivel Nut. 3/4 inch AWWA water meter body has 1 inch male NPSM thread. The pitch of the thread is 0.08696 inch. Pitch dia. is 1.21363 inch. The female nut of the coupling also has 1 inch NPSM thread. The other side of coupling is with 3/4 inch NPT (National Pipe Threads) thread as specified by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)and has 3/4" tapered thread. The pitch of the thread is 0.07143 inch. Pitch Dia. at beginning of external thread is 0.96768 inch.
