The Evolution of the Baseball display - w/ 4 balls 1850's-1910's - lemon peel, figure 8, gusset ball, etc.  Awesome historical display.
This includes a display stand along with 4 vintage leather baseballs showing the history of the ball from the mid 1800's through the early 1900's.  The balls sit atop the display and can be removed.  The four balls include:
-Gusset style H-stitched, 3 piece balls
-Classic Lemon Peel ball, 1 piece construction
-Hand stitched Figure 8 baseball
-Early 1900's manufactured ball
All four balls show some wear as you would expect but are fantastic examples of each style of baseball from this early time of the game.
Anyone with interest in the history of the game and its equipment will absolutely love this piece.
